COMMANDER'S NOTES: FOOD CONVOY: Each year the American Legion and Auxiliary sponsors a food convoy to help the Veteran’s home. The Food convoy will leave the Post about 6:30 a.m,. October 15th and will link up with other legionnaires on the way to Lewiston. You can bring items to the Post at 1138 E. Poleline Avenue, also money will be accepted. Just think, for $3.20 you can get a number 10 can of food to help the home. The extra money helps to see that veterans can go fishing for a day or a special party on their birthday. It is a little extra for the Idaho Veterans.
